Gathering Graces 2/2/2017

*Spent a few periods today helping seniors with the scholarship process as they continue to travel through the maze of college preparation.  I tell them, the key is to make a list of local scholarship you are going to apply for, write down the deadline and what you need for them, and stay organized.
*I had been trying to get with another student who was having trouble logging into her college account and getting her web account and college email set up.  She came down, made a phone call to the college help desk, and mission accomplished!!
*Paul drove over to Coeur d’Alene to pick Molly us.  Travis has Navy Reserves this weekend, so she decided to come home so she could attend Sarah’s funeral on Saturday.  Paul cooked dinner tonight, and made steamed clams, salad and bread.  Very delicious!!
*For many of you reading the comics in your local newspaper between 1985-1995, there was a comic strip by the name of Calvin and Hobbes.  It was one of my favorites.  Netflix has a documentary called Dear Mr. Watterson that I watched tonight that brought back many fond memories of reading this comic strip.  We have some of the books around our house.  Calvin and Hobbes is so funny. You can see the trailer for the documentary here.
